Dr. Randall W. Hill, Jr, Vice Dean, Viterbi School of Engineering, Omar B. Milligan Professor in Computer Science (Games and Interactive Media), Executive Director, ICT welcomed Brigadier General William C. Hannan, Jr., Commander, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, to the USC Institute for Creative Technologies on Friday May 30, 2025. BG Hannan was accompanied by Joseph Deck, 1LT, EN, Aide De Camp.
Before taking our guests for a tour of the institute, Dr. Randall W. Hill, Jr, thanked them for the incredible work being done by USACE after the recent fire disasters in our city. Dr. Hill then led a briefing, followed by research presentations and demos from our labs including: Mixed Reality, Modeling & Simulation, Geospatial Terrain, Center for Body Computing, Human-Centered AI Lab, Virtual Human Therapeutics Lab, and Vision & Graphics Lab.
The visit ended with a photo op in our Academy Award-winning Light Stage.
