USA Today highlighted research by Skip Rizzo of the USC Institute for Creative Technologies on the use of virtual reality to treat veterans with PTSD. VR therapy developed by Rizzo and his colleagues is being used at dozens of Veterans Affairs facilities. “We try to address the trauma and activate a memory, and it’s hard medicine for a hard problem,” Rizzo said.
