USC to Award Honorary Degree to Early ICT Champion

Anita K. Jones a professor, computer scientist, and former federal director of defense research and engineering is being recognized for her insightful leadership that paved the way for the founding of USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies. Honorary degrees represent the highest award the university confers. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is also among those receiving the honor this year.
