Study Uses Internet Blog Posts to Understand Women’s Stroke Symptoms

A collaborative study between USC and Pomona College researchers analyzed internet weblog posts and found that women report more changes in mental health status than do male patients. The study was published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research and written about in the Pomona College news. ICT’s Andrew Gordon and Christopher Weinberg conducted this research with Pomona College Professor of Linguistics and Cognitive Science Deborah Burke.
