ICT’s Jacquelyn Ford Morie, and her avatars in Second Life, were featured in a Scientific American story about the online avatars and what they represent. The story noted that Morie studies the impact of immersive technologies and virtual worlds. Role playing in immersive environments like Second Life is natural, and even healthy, Morie said. “Our identity shifts all the time and every day, morphing and evolving based on what we are doing now.”
