New Approaches Emerging To Preserve Shoah Memory – NDT in Jewish Week

The  Jewish Week covered New Dimensions in Testimony and the recent recording of  Holocaust survivor Eva Kor’s testimony for the project.
Th story states that Eva Kor’s interview is slated to appear eventually in holographic form, using advanced speech recognition, natural language recognition and audio triggers to allow future viewers to interact with interviewees like Kor by asking questions that the survivors, no longer alive, will be able to answer in recorded fashion. The story notes that the project is a collaboration between University of Southern California’s Shoah Foundation, and the USC Institute for Creative Technologies and Conscience Display.
