ICT’s SimSensei has been named one of the year’s the top ten most promising and innovative digital initiatives by NetExplo, a forum working in partnership with UNESCO to recognize technologies that are inventing new forms of education, communication, information, solidarity and management around the globe.
SimSensei is a virtual human application that can be used to identify signals of depression and other mental health issues. This research and development effort is led by Louis-Philippe Morency and Skip Rizzo and funded as part of DARPA’s Detection and Computational Analysis of Psychological Signals (DCAPS) project.
An awards presentation will be held at the NetExplo Forum at UNESCO in Paris, March 26-28, 2104
