Lixing Huang, Louis-Phillippe Morency and Jon Gratch received the Best Virtual Agents Paper Award at the AAMAS Conference for their paper, Parasocial Consensus Sampling: Combining Multiple Perspectives to Learn Virtual Human Behavior.
Another paper, Evaluating Models of Speaker Head Nods for Virtual Agents by Jina Lee, Zhiyang Wang and Stacy Marsella was also one of the finalists. Congratulations to all for the well-deserved recognition.
