Jonathan Gratch has been named president-elect of the newly-formed Human-Machine Interaction Network on Emotion (HUMAINE) Association. The group, founded in June 2007, is a professional, world-wide association for researchers in emotion-oriented/affective computing. Gratch is associate director for virtual humans research at ICT.
