The USC Institute for Creative Technologies hosted students from the USC Rossier School of Education Global Executive Doctor of Education Program on Tuesday, July 23. The Global Ed.D. cohort of 2013 learned about the ICT organization from Executive Director Dr. Randy Hill and watched hands-on demonstrations of the Immersive Naval Officer Training System, game-based rehabilitation therapy tools, and the Graphics Lab’s light stage. ICT researchers also highlighted projects such as the Motivational Interviewing Learning Environment and Simulation, a collaboration with the USC Center for Innovation and Research on Veterans and Military Families, and the New Dimensions in Testimony project, a collaboration with the USC Shoah Foundation. Over lunch, students asked ICT researchers about their leadership philosophies, and discussed how creative people at ICT approached problem-solving.
