Fast Company Says ICT is Changing the Nature of Video Games

Fast Company featured the USC Institute for Creative Technologies and the companies that have been launched through research at the MxR Lab – Oculus Rift and Survios, the latter of which just received $4 million in venture capital funding. The story noted that ICT “is changing the nature of video games. “Survios founder and USC alumnus James Illiff said the company is developing hardware and software for a new generation of virtual reality gaming. “If you want something that’s like the holodeck or the Matrix, you really have to be able to use your body naturally. Not just use buttons,” Illiff said.
