Fast Company featured ICT Graphics Lab research on how to create super-realistic CGI skin. Their innovative technique captures pores and wrinkles of a human face to a new level of detail, making digital avatars much more life-like. Gizmodo also ran a story. The research was conducted by Koki Nagano, Paul Debevec, Graham Fyffe and Oleg Alexander at ICT, along with Hao Li of the USC Viterbi School and colleagues.
