The Verge, in a story about this year’s SIGGRAPH conference, highlighted the ICT Graphics Lab’s digital skin stretch research, which was presented at the conference. The demo showed off the highly-detailed texture of skin as photo-realistic, digital faces changed expression. “It’s just a matter of time before our video game heroes and villains become that extra bit more human,” the story noted.
