Austin affiliate KEYE-TV featured Bravemind, a virtual reality program designed by the USC Institute for Creative Technologies to treat PTSD. Veterans can experience virtual wartime environments, 3D sound and even actual smells. “It has been proven that if the veteran experiences that terrified phenomenon again and again and again then the symptoms of PTSD decay with time,” said USC President C. L. Max Nikias.
