BBC Highlights ICT Virtual Reality Research

BBC highlighted virtual reality research by the USC Institute for Creative Technologies. Mark Bolas, director of ICT’s Mixed Reality Research lab, said much of their work is driving the next generation of operations and communications tools for the U.S. military. His lab employed Palmer Luckey, founder of Oculus Rift, until just before Luckey left to develop the VR headset. “I can’t think of an area which [VR] is not going to affect,” Bolas said.
