Belinda Lange, Ph.D, a physical therapist who leads ICT’s Game-Based Rehabilitation efforts, collaborated with UCLA researchers to provide children with cerebral palsy an opportunity to play video games. The collaboration allowed children with physical and visual impairments to control game play using ICT’s FAAST system, which drives game play with gestures rather than keyboards and joysticks. Watch this Cerebral Palsy Network video of children enjoying the games at their CP Family Forum, an event held at UCLA.
