Medicine Meets Virtual Reality Conference Tours ICT

On Friday evening, conference participants from the Medicine Meets Virtual Reality Conference can enjoy a tour and reception at the University of Southern California’s Institute for Creative Technologies. A brief introduction to ICT will be presented in the theater. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of a number of ICT projects, including Bravemind (VR exposure therapy for PTSD), Jewel Mine (game-based rehabilitation), SimCoach (web-based virtual human designed to assist service members, veterans, and their families), STRIVE (VR-based stress resilience training), and Gunslinger (interactive entertainment using virtual humans, Hollywood storytelling, and set building), as well as other cutting-edge research projects.
