Alesia Gainer is a Project Leader and Project Manager for the Virtual Humans Group at ICT, managing the financial and operational aspects of several research tracks and projects; she supports five other project leaders in overseeing a group of 25 people, and manages a current portfolio representing approximately $10 million in funding.
Prior to joining ICT in 2010, Gainer built wireless audio/video streaming content services while working for PacketVideo Japan, a division of Alcatel. At Sony Corporation, she was a founding member of the all-Japanese anime broadcast network Animax; before her roll-out to that venture she worked in the Corporate Planning and Corporate Finance divisions in Tokyo, and in the Business Development group in New York City at Sony Corporation of America.
Alesia Gainer obtained her undergraduate degree from Harvard College and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
