Margaux Lhommet is a postdoctoral research associate in the Virtual Human group at the University of Southern California Institute for Creative Technologies. She works under the supervision of Stacy Marsella. She is interested on the influence of individual differences (personality, gender, culture) on both cognitive and non-cognitive processes that determine human behavior. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Technology of Compiegne (France). Her thesis, entitled "REPLICANTS: emotional, social and cognitive virtual humans. From cognitive to affective empathy" was realized under the supervision of Domitile Lourdeaux and Jean-Paul Barthes. Lhommet previously got a M.S. in computer science and a M.S. in engineering from University of Technology of Compiegne.
