A USC Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) product has received the Modeling and Simulation Award for Training from the Department of Defense – the highest honor for simulation applications.  The “Self-Directed Learning Internet Module”, SLIM-ES3: “Every Soldier a Sensor Simulation,” is a collaborative effort between the ICT, the U.S. Army Intelligence branch (G-2), the U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command, Simulation and Training Technology Center (RDECOM-STTC), and Warner Bros. Online. The annual Department of Defense Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Awards recognize achievement in support of Department of Defense Modeling & Simulation objectives.  Seventy-nine nominations were received from across the Department of Defense. The awards were recently presented to winners at the Modeling and Simulation Conference in Baltimore, MD.
