Project Description
The Aesthetic Visualization (AV) project seeks to insert technically savvy/sensitive artists into the research and production process with a focus on improving the visual (and auditory) representation of ICT work, as well as contribute to discussions on aesthetics and design.
Job Description
The ideal intern would be an art student/graduate who also has significant technical/computational/scientific knowledge and expertise. The intern would attend regular meetings with a number of projects and work with collaboratively with personnel on visualization and aesthetics. They would be directly involved in helping to create certain visual assets (could include graphics, video, audio) that can be used in presentations, web content and other outreach, as well as impact the design of the project work product.
Skill set:
1. Background/expertise in the arts
2. Ability to create digital media
3. Background/expertise in technical/computational/scientific areas
