Project Description
The VRPSYCH Lab is looking for an intern that is interested in examining issues related to the structure and acquisition of psycho-physiological performance in military relevant virtual environments and extending current theory on neurocognitive performance within virtual environments. These psycho-physiological responses will be developed from experience within a virtual Iraqi city.
Job Description
Performance measurement and training using low and/or high fidelity simulation technologies. Assessment of psychophsysiological indices. (EEG, HR, BP, respiration, SCR, etc). Machine learning algorithms using Matlab, Statistica, etc for intelligent feedback system. Lua scripting (Maya).
Skills Needed:
Interest in taking part in experimental set-up conducive to synchronous measurement of virtual reality performance using multiple systems (e.g., ASL, Biopac, Simulator).
Experience using Matlab and Biopac’s MP150 system would be useful.
