Paul Debevec, a computer science professor at the University of Southern California (USC), as well as the associate director for graphics research at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies in Los Angeles, will delve into the world of digital animation in a special presentation at Manhattan’s TimesCenter on November 22, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 

Professor Debevec is an Academy-Award-winning visual effects director whose work has been featured in major films including Avatar and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.  Joining Debevec will be the dean of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, Yannis C. Yortsos.
