Project Description

The research project is designed for empirical study of how and when to trigger adaptive computer aids. The aids would be designed to help a user who is giving signs of having difficulty performing a task. By the start of the internship, the project will be at the stage of collecting data from human-subjects experimentation with self-initiated automated aids.

Job Description
The research assistant will help debug experiment programs in E-Prime (Visual Basic programming), run the study, analyze the data, and possibly contribute to a publication and presentation of the work at a scientific conference.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience programming in Visual Basic
  • Some experience in human-subjects running
  • Some experience in data analysis
