Project Description
The project will explore verbal and nonverbal techniques for fostering trust, bonding and rapport between a human user and autonomous systems (robots and virtual humans). Intern will work with AI dialog and multi-modal sensing methods to examine ways to sense and respond to human verbal and nonverbal information to build rapport and trust in a laboratory experimental task.

Job Description
Duties include programming and working with existing AI methods. Some understanding of HCI/HRI, experimental methods and data analysis will be useful.

Preferred Skills
– Extensive programming experience
– Knowledge of signal processing and machine learning methods
– Evidence of research potential (e.g., publications)
