Project Description
Taking the player through an emotional journey is an effective way to engage players and create an everlasting game-play experience. Techniques such as the use of sound and visual effects have been experimented in movies and games. In this project, we will focus on the design of game events based on appraisal theories of emotion, and research how characteristics and sequences of game events can induce emotions through interactive game-play.

Job Description
The research assistant will build upon and extend an existing game, EVG, to design a role-playing game to induce emotions.
