Project Description
In this project we develop the theoretical concepts and algorithms for successful navigation of systems using terrain matching and geo-registration techniques for airborne platforms. Focus is on real time implementation on embedded platforms and successful implementation with limited training data. Object and landmark detection and tracking, self localization, networked and collaborative systems are relevant sub-topics for exploration.

Job Description
Candidate will be well versed in machine learning and computer vision, with additional knowledge in navigation and localization strategies. The applicant will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers located at ARL West and Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Algorithm development and subsequent implementation is required for this position.
